Why should I choose Kristen Lee Photography?
I provide a relaxing, fun filled, worry free photography experience. I capture your love and your wedding day as it unfolds ensuring you have beautiful, natural, romantic and fun images for you to look back on for many years to come.
How many images will we get?
This varies depending on many factors such as, weather conditions, time constraints, how many hours you’ve booked me for, if you’ve booked a second photographer, etc. I don’t have a limit to how many images you receive. You will get every image I edit. As an example, if you book me, with no second photographer, for an 8 hour wedding, you will receive roughly 800-1000 images.
Do you blog or share on social media every wedding?
I try to blog and share as many weddings as I can, however I don’t always have time to blog everyone’s beautiful day. Running this business and after two little girls can make time limited, so please don’t be offended if your wedding isn’t on my blog. I do always share your day on my Instagram and Facebook business pages.
Can we, as well as our families, order prints after our wedding?
Your online gallery has an option to purchase prints and canvases directly from my professional printing lab. This is the same lab I order all my prints from and ensures you receive the highest quality prints to show off your amazing images. All you need to do is click the little shopping cart icon on the image you, your family, or friends would like to order.
Can we make payments or does it all need to be paid at once?
Yes! You can definitely make payments. I break up the collection fee into 3 seperate payments. There is your initial retainer fee when you book with me, then 50% of your remaining balance is due 6 months prior to your wedding day, with the remaining 50% is due 14 days prior to your wedding. I know that planning a wedding can be stressful at times and price tags can seem daunting, so for this reason, if it’s easier to make smaller, more frequent payments then that is something you can definitely do.
Engagement Sessions. Are they necessary?
I love engagement sessions! No, they are 100% necessary, though I like to think of them as getting to know each other sessions. You get to know me and how I work and some of my quirks, and I get to learn more about you and your amazing love story. Plus, they are TONS of fun!
How do we see our photos?
Your images will be uploaded into your own online gallery through my private gallery site. Once they are uploaded, you’ll be emailed your own password and download PIN. You can easily share your gallery with your friends and family as well.
How do we choose the photos for our wedding album?
I aim to make this process as streamlined and hassle free as possible. As you go through your images in your gallery, all you need to do is click the heart icon in the top corner of an image. This will create a favorites folder.
How long does it take until we receive our album?
Once you finish choosing your favorite images, I design your album myself using your favorite moments to tell your uniquely perfect love story. When I finish the design, I send it over to you for approval. Once you approve the design, it will usually take 2-3 months to be delivered from my album supplier. This timing can take a little longer over the holidays.
How do we book and what is your retainer fee?
If you are interested in booking, just get in touch! Fill out the contact form and I’ll send you my collection information! The retainer fee is 25% of whichever collection you choose, which is due when we sign the contract, and comes off the remainder of your collection fee.
What happens if you get sick?
I would need to be very, very sick to not make it on your wedding day. But, if it did come to that, I’m part of an incredible network of photographers who would be prepared to step in and cover your wedding, just as I would be prepared to do the same for them if need be.
