I have been blessed to know Heather her entire life. So I was so honored and excited when she asked me to photograph her wedding! It was a beautiful, warm August day with bright blue skies. Everything from the location, to the flowers and colors, to the custom headpiece made by Heather’s mother out of her confirmation dress, fit Heather and Chuck completely. It was a very emotional day for an amazing couple.
Beth and Blake planned their beautiful mountainside wedding to over look the views of Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. When Beth woke up that morning the sky was gray and the forecast called for severe thunderstorms just when their ceremony was to take place. The fog rolled in and the rain lightly drizzled off an on all morning. But Beth had her heart set on going up the mountain, no matter what the weather was saying. The day rolled on and the fog got thicker and thicker, but the rain stayed away. They were given the go ahead to have their ceremony at the top of the mountain with only 30 minutes to spare! Once we reached the top and climbed out of the gondola it was like stepping into a fairytale land in the clouds. The mountain view they had longed for was hidden. Instead everything and everyone was enveloped in a thick white fog and it looked and felt like we were floating in a cloud. As he waited anxiously for his bride to walk down the stairs to meet him, Blake held back his emotions until he broke into one of the biggest smiles I have ever seen. They were surrounded by friends, family, smiles and sniffles as there wasn’t a dry eye on the whole mountain. A good friend conducted the emotional ceremony and the whole day was filled with so much love among family and friends.
Guests were met with a personal message for each and every one of them at their seats.
And friends and family helped create the very intimate atmosphere by providing homemade treats for the desert table!
I am so honored I was able to be apart of this special day. Beth and Blake I wish you many years of happiness and adventure as you start your new chapter together. And your new life in the beautiful San Diego!!!

When I met Natalie and Jesse I could instantly tell we were going to be a good fit. They were so excited to talk about their upcoming winter wedding. And our daughters were into the same story book! You just have to love Harold and The Purple Crayon!!! We got to hang out again during their June engagement session. We had a blast as they braved the bugs and humidity with me at Benson’s Park in Hudson, NH last week.
Natalie and Jesse you laughter is infectious and I can’t wait to celebrate with you and your family this February! I know it will be a beautiful day filled with love and laughter.
When I asked Jenn where she and George would like to have their engagement session her answer brought back childhood memories of summer trips to the beach. Like myself, Jenn grew up spending lazy summer days on Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA. It is her favorite beach, so of course it was the perfect location for their engagement session.
The love that these two share is so apparent as well as how much fun they have together!
The afternoon had started out a little gloomy but as we walked along the beach the sun decided to try and come out to shine, giving us some beautiful light. Not like these two need any help looking more beautiful! But everyone loves some summer sun 🙂
Jenn and George I had so much fun with you at Wingaersheek Beach. I can’t wait until your wedding next June at the amazing Cruiseport Gloucester. I know it is going to be fabulous!!!
