I have known Courtney since we were in preschool together, so when she and her husband had baby number 3 I was ecstatic for them. I was so honored to be trusted with his newborn photos! In true baby fashion, little Barry was much more interested in what was going on around him then going to sleep. Though after some snuggles from Mama and a lot of eye rubs, he finally fell fast asleep and ended up taking a nap with a giant teddy bear!
As a New Englander and someone who grew up not far outside of Boston there is nothing quite like Boston in the snow. So an engagement session with some fresh snow on the ground made me all warm and fuzzy on the inside, which was a good thing as it was very cold on the outside! Danielle, as lover of heels, came prepared with two awesome pairs for their shoot, along with her cute snow boots for walking along the streets and through the crunchy snow. We started our tour of Boston in the beautiful Boston Public Garden, walked through the amazing sunlight pouring into Boston Common, down historic Acorn Street, and ended at Faneuil Hall.
I met Christine and Jimmy at the amazing Cruiseport Gloucester‘s bridal show at the beginning of last year. We had a few hiccups trying to get together and chat as Mother Nature decided to dump just a few blizzards our way that year! Once we were able to make it through the mounds of snow and chat it was instantly apparent we were the perfect fit! We had a blast walking their great dane Guinness around Boston for their engagement session. He was the talk of the city! Everyone we walked by wanted to meet him and he was only too pleased to oblige. I couldn’t wait until January 1st to shoot their wedding. The weather was crisp but the day was beautiful. The details were sparkling. Saint Ann’s Parish was draped in gorgeous crimson poinsettia plants. It really was the perfect way to begin the new year!
These girls were so much fun!
And could these guys be any more dapper!
Jimmy had rolled his ankle pretty bad the night before so unfortunately couldn’t participate in most of the dancing…but him and Christine still had a lot of fun together as the crowd danced “with” him and included him in all the fun 🙂
Congratulations Christine and Jimmy! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the two of you!!!
Monica and Nick got married on a chilly but beautiful October day where the colors were popping and so much love was in the air. The details were meticulously thought out and beautifully executed mostly by Monica herself. From the heart made from her late father’s flannel shirt sewn into her dress, to the wooden flowers made by Monica everything was beautiful and very set in with their theme. Congratulations Monica and Nick and thank you for allowing me to be part of your day and to capture your wedding day memories!
these flowers were amazing!!!
