September 10th, 2016. Heidi and Ryan’s day finally arrived! Just under 11 months since their awesome engagement session, where I will admit I got incredibly lost getting to because for some reason even though I have lived in New Hampshire for many years the Kancamagus and I don’t always agree, it was finally time to see them say I Do!!! I have no words to describe the view from the Stonehurst Manor except amazing. The mountains looked gorgeous across the way and the rain that came later in the day did nothing to take away from their beauty. I think the only thing that could take away from the mountains was Heidi and Ryan themselves. The morning started early with hair, makeup, laughter, and bacon. The sun came out and shone over the amazing stonework and fall colors. The emotions started early as the excitement built. Heidi gave Ryan a gorgeous watch inscribed with a personal message and photo from their engagement session, while Ryan sent Heidi over a box recreating their first date including poems and messages they had sent and given each other in the beginning of their relationship…ok I was definitely holding back the misty eyes by now!!! Tears were wiped, makeup which Heidi gorgeously did herself was fixed and it was almost time!!! The ceremony took place under a sweet little arch engulfed in trees and stone, with the mountains in the distance and the best chess set behind them. Ryan tried with all his might to not turn around as Heidi and her mom walked from the manor toward the aisle, but he couldn’t resist peaking. Barley holding in his emotions as tears welled up in his eyes he waited for his bride. Their vows were emotional and tear filled and Jessie and I were surrounded by sniffles as everyone tried to hold back tears. Even the extreme humidity couldn’t take away from the perfection of this day!!!
